Recruiting the Future Pasifika workforce

We are approaching our community and will accept applications from our Pasifika community and the criteria is as below:

• School leaver who completed Year 13

• Completed or studied in a STEM related subject or similar.

• Achieved a minimum level of NCEA level 3.

• Students who have also attained either Merit or Excellence is a bonus but not a requirement

• New Zealand resident.

Other areas specific to recruitment will be the home environment in which the apprentice is situated to ensure:

1. The home environment understands that this is a limited opportunity being made available to their school leaver.

2. That the home environment encourages their apprentice to develop, home and display an unwavering commitment to their employer and likewise the program and its administrators.
